Privacy Policy

SIUU Studio (the "Service") is owned and operated by SIUU Labs ("SIUU Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how SIUU Studio collects, uses, and discloses information about you in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information when you use our platform:
- Identifiers: Name, alias, IP address, and email address (if provided during account creation).
- Age Information: Your birthday (day, month, and year), which every account is required to provide once. See Section 7.
- Commercial Information: Projects created, tools utilized, and user engagement metrics.
- Internet or Network Activity: Browsing history, search history within the app, and interactions with our AI models.
- Sensitive Personal Information: We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless explicitly provided by you in your video prompts or text inputs.
2. Usage and Sharing of Information
We use your data primarily to provide, personalize, and improve our AI creation tools. SIUU Studio does not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share information with authorized service providers necessary to operate the platform, under strict confidentiality agreements.
3. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
Under California law, consumers have specific rights regarding their personal information:
- Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you over the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out: While we do not sell your data, you have the right to opt-out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You will not be denied goods or services or charged different prices.
4. How to Submit a Request
To exercise your Right to Know, Delete, or Opt-Out, please submit a verifiable consumer request by emailing us at privacy@siuustudio.com.
5. Accessibility
This Privacy Policy is designed to be easily readable and accessible. We review and update this policy at least annually. If you are a user with a disability and require this policy in an alternative format, please contact us at support@siuustudio.com.
6. AI Technology & Transparency (AB 2013 / SB 942)
SIUU Studio's AI features are powered by the Groq AI API. We have not fine-tuned, retrained, or substantially modified the underlying base model. All AI behavior is guided by proprietary system instructions designed to optimize content strategy for creators. SIUU Studio is the deploying provider of this AI tool, not the developer of the underlying model.
SIUU Studio does not collect neural data, biometric data, or any data generated by the brain or nervous system, as defined under California's 2026 CCPA updates. All AI-generated content produced by our tools is intended as creative suggestions only. Users remain fully responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI output before publishing or distributing it.
7. Age Requirement & Birthday Collection (13+)
You must be at least 13 years old to use SIUU Studio. To enforce this, every account, including accounts created with Google sign-in and accounts created before this requirement was introduced, must enter a birthday (day, month, and year) the first time the user opens the Service after the age check is turned on. The Service cannot be used until a birthday has been entered.
- What we collect: Your date of birth only. We use it to confirm that you meet the minimum age and to comply with applicable law. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
- How it is stored: Your birthday is kept in a separate, access-restricted database table and is not part of your regular profile. It is never shown to other users, and we do not sell or share it.
- You cannot change it yourself: A birthday can be entered only once. If you made a mistake, contact support@siuustudio.com and an authorized staff member can review and correct it.
- Staff corrections are logged: Only SIUU Studio administrators and moderators can view or correct a birthday. A written reason is required for every correction, and each change is recorded in a change log (the previous birthday, the new birthday, the staff member who made the change, the reason, and the time). Moderators cannot change the birthday of a staff member, and no staff member can change their own.
- Under 13: If the birthday on an account shows that the person is under 13, we block access to the Service. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use SIUU Studio. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we will restrict it and delete the personal information we hold about the child as required by law. Parents or guardians can contact us at privacy@siuustudio.com.
- Retention: We keep your birthday and its change log for as long as your account exists, and delete them when your account is deleted.
